The Junkyard Jonny Show
(1 performer) (Home-base: Ottawa, Canada)
(leader: Jonny)
Junkyard Jonny demonstrates his incredible skills as a drummer, juggler, comedian, clown, acrobat and environmentalist using reused instruments and props that he has created from the Junkyard. Kids love to join in the funk and jam along with Jonny on the junk. The Junkyard Jonny Show has been a popular appearance at many community events. This show is perfect for day cares, day camps, Cubs and Brownies, birthday parties, children's museums and community events.
Duration: 40 minutes. Maximum 200 participants.

Background
Junkyard Jonny, aka Jon Olsen, founder of Junkyard Symphony has been playing on pots and pans since the age of four and has never really stopped. He took private drum lessons for five years as a child then entered the concert bands and jazz bands in middle school and high school. As well as being an honors student in the French immersion program, he won the overall music award and most spirited student award at high school graduation for his creative efforts in forming The Enviro Band , a collection of 20 or so concert band members who played radical rhythms on recycle bins and pickle buckets for their Earth Day ceremonies.
Jonny has been performing the Junkyard Jonny Show with Junkyard Symphony since 1997 and has gained great popularity in the Ottawa community for his great prices, and great quality. His ability to make an immediate rapport with the audience, especially the children, shows that Junkyard Jonny is a true professional.
