About Junkyard Symphony
Based in Ottawa, Canada, Junkyard Symphony is an eco-entertainment group that performs an amazing junk percussion/comedy/circus show. Formed in 1991, Junkyard Symphony reuses junk materials to create radical rhythms, awesome antics, terrific tricks, clownish comedy, and plenty of participation. In this show the performers are the conductors while the audience becomes the symphony. Junkyard Symphony performs a great family style show for community, schools, festivals and corporate events. It is suited to all ages is as entertaining as it is educational. The show is generally performed as a duo, but a trio or a quartet show is available for clients who can afford it.
Junkyard Symphony has performed thousands of shows over the years. They have also peformed in many countries around the globe such as Singapore, China, Britain, France, Macedonia, U.S.A., and of course Canada. They have performed for important people such as the Prime Minister of Canada, the President of Singapore, The Governor of Jiangsu Province in China, and music celebrities such as the Tragically Hip, Sheryl Crow and Ziggy Marley.
