Junkyard Jam (2 performers) (Home-base: Ottawa, Canada) (leaders: Jonny, Stewie, Ross)          Junkyard Symphony's most popular show, the Junkyard Jam is radical rhythms on rubbish. Junkyard Symphony jams with the audience along to the beat of the junk. The only language spoken is the language of rhythm. Volunteers get to drum on buckets, dance the Macarena, shake shakers, do the limbo and have a ball! This show is suitable for festivals ground level and especially main stage, school BBQ's, bar mitzvahs, weddings, store openings, block parties, sport events, museums, fall fairs. and community events. Duration: 50 minutes. Background          The Junkyard Jam show was created when Junkyard Symphony made a trip to Hong Kong in February of 2003. While the locals do speek English, their comprehension of the Jonny's Canadian accent was not stellar, so Jonny thought of a show which had no talking at all, thus the birth of the "Junkyard Jam" show. His idea was that rhythm and body language are the true universal languages, and a show that uses only this form of communication could be performed anywhere in the world and have the same success everywhere. So far, Jonny has been right on the money. One of Junkyard Symphony's most popular show, the Junkyard Jam has a flow like no other show!

* Each additional show in a day, in the same location is half price. * For a second show that day , in a different location, but in the relative vacinity,             5% off both shows. Both groups share travel costs. * For a third and fourth show ond day 2 , in a different location, but in the relative vacinity,             10% off all shows. All groups share travel costs. * For a fifth and sixth show ond day 3 , in a different location, but in the relative vacinity,             15% off all shows. All groups share travel costs. * 5% GST will be added to the price, as well as travel costs if your event is outside the Ottawa area- $75 per 100km from Ottawa. * Accommodation/food charges will be added if we must stay overnight. * For shows farther than 150km, a premium will be added for travel time if we are performing just one show, however if other shows in the area or on the way are found to create a small tour, the premium will be removed.
