Ottawa Winterlude Junkyard Symphony has performed at Winterlude many times. The great thing about junk is that is doesn't get damaged by rain or snow. This picture was also in the Citizen in the City section. You can see the volunteer trying to chase jonny and play on a water jug. |

Ottawa Jazz Fest Junkyard Symphony has also performed at the Ottawa Jazz Fest many times. The great thing about junk is that is you can't put it into one musical category. This picture was also in the Citizen in the City section. You can see Jonny showing off. Lackey isn't to impressed. |

Brandtford 150th Birthday Festival Jonny and the Amazing Lackey are drumming up a storm to a captive audience! You can see all the different pieces of junk they are playing on ... pots and pans, water jugs and even a catalytic converter! It looks like somebody just kicked the Amazing Lackey in the butt...Don't ya think? |

Klondike Days in Edmonton This is a picture of Jonny and Tony on the Klondike Stage at Klondike Days in Edmonton, Alberta summer 2004. Thankfully Tony shaved off all of his hair not long after the show. Junkyard Symphony was joined by local singer Jenae Rogers who help them perform songs from their Album Planet Junk. In all Junkyard Symphony performed 50 shows over the 10 days that they were at the festival. After that Tony could help but go to the barber. |

High School Theatre in Cornwall Junkyard Symphony performs on the mainstage at L'Ecole Secondaire 'L'Heritage in Cornwall to a fabulous audience in May of 2005. While teenagers can be a difficult crowd, Junkyard Symphony seemed quite comfortable performing for the excited fans at L'Heritage who seemd to be quite amazed by the performance. |

Main Stage The Junkyard Symphony's niche is daytime mainstage performances at outdoor festivals, summer or winter. With microphones on the junk, the crowd can really get into the beat and warm up as in this case. The volunteers on the stage warm up by doing the 'can can'. Winterlude spends two weeks blowing snow to make the giant slides that make Jaques Cartier Parc a huge winter playground. |
